A Calling from God

Rev. Dr. Ivan A. Schumann is the Founder and Executive Director of Let My People Know Ministries (LMPK), an outreach dedicated to bringing Jewish and Christian believers together through biblical truth, reconciliation, and the love of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus).

After years of prayer, study, and ministry, Ivan founded Let My People Know in 2023 in response to God's call to help the Jewish people recognize their Messiah while helping Christians understand the Jewish foundations of their faith. His ministry seeks to strengthen interfaith Jewish-Christian families, equip believers with sound biblical teaching, and encourage unity within the Body of Messiah.

Ministry

Since 2023, Ivan has been a member of Mishkan David Messianic Congregation in Sunrise, Florida.

There he has the privilege of serving as one of the congregation's shofar blowers during worship services while continuing to teach, disciple, and encourage believers in their walk with the Lord.

He also hosts the Let My People Know Podcast, produces biblical teaching videos, and has developed instructional resources—including his widely viewed tutorial on how to blow the biblical shofar.

Professional Leadership

Before entering full-time ministry, Ivan spent decades serving in executive leadership throughout the nonprofit and business communities.

His leadership positions include:

• Executive Director, Indianapolis Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

• Development Director, Gulf Coast Latin Chamber of Commerce

• Television Host addressing issues affecting the Hispanic community

• Community Development Executive

• Marketing and Business Development Consultant

• Medicare Operations and Sales Executive

Ivan is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to minister across diverse communities and cultures.

Community Service

Throughout his career, Ivan has worked to strengthen communities through education, leadership development, and collaboration.

His service includes:

• Leadership in the La Plaza initiative, helping expand educational opportunities for Hispanic youth.

• Co-Chair of the Hispanic/Latino Forum, fostering relationships among diverse ethnic communities.

• Board Member, United Way Governance Committee.

• Leadership with the National Association of Hispanic MBAs (Indianapolis Chapter).

• Chair and Co-Founder of the Sarasota Ministerial Association.

His passion has always been helping individuals discover their God-given purpose while strengthening families and communities.

Ministry Philosophy

Ivan believes lasting transformation begins with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach).

His ministry is founded upon the conviction that when individuals know God personally, families are strengthened, communities flourish, and nations are changed.

His desire is to teach the Scriptures faithfully while encouraging believers to grow in wisdom, faith, compassion, and obedience.
